We welcome everyone for their gynecological care and provide a safe place for LGBTQ people. If you identify as transgender and/or non-binary, we are here to provide safe and private healthcare for you and encourage you to get their regular pap tests and general screenings.
If you are interested in a gynecology setting to make your appointment more private, learn more about our Cook St. location to see if it’s a good fit for you. Your sexual healthcare is important to us and we are proud to provide quality care right here in Covington Women’s Health Specialists.
Due to risks associated with COVID-19, in-person group classes are not in session until further notice.
Our larger, main office sees pregnant and gynecological patients. It accommodates the equipment needed for monitoring our pregnant patients and its close proximity to the hospital allows both providers and patients to get there very quickly if needed.
Pre-COVID, we allowed patients to bring their young children and babies to their appointments. However, additional guests are not allowed to our patient’s appointments due to CDC and DPH guidelines.
Cook Street Office
At this office, we only see patients for gynecology services appointments. This smaller environment allows us to move our patients to make their appointments more private. This location is not far from our main campus but is more secluded from the traffic of the hospital.

To allow ample time for all patients and scheduled procedures such as ultrasounds, in-office procedures and surgical procedures, we operate by appointment. Emergencies and illnesses do not synchronize with our appointment book and sometimes deliveries and surgical procedures take longer than planned, so an occasional appointment delay is inevitable. Please understand that we make every effort to see you at your scheduled time. We appreciate your time and ask that you reciprocate by phoning our office if you cannot keep your appointment (24 hours in advance if at all possible).
Our office utilizes an Electrical Medical Record (EMR) system which means we do not have paper charts. When you call for your first appointment, you will be given a user name and password to access your medical history form on-line. It is most important that your forms be completed before coming into the office for your first visit. If you do not have a computer at work or home, there are computers at the public libraries.
Co-pays must be collected in accordance with your insurance company and state regulations. Please be prepared to pay your co-pay before seeing the Provider. We accept Visa, and MasterCard, as well as Debit Cards. We are in-network with most insurance companies, Medicare, and Medicaid. We expect payment at the time of service and we will not schedule a surgery until the deductible and/or copay has been paid in full.
