Michelle D. White, MD, FACOG
Michelle D. White, MD is a native of Atlanta. She earned her undergraduate degree in Chemistry at Xavier University in New Orleans, Louisiana. She studied medicine at the historic Morehouse School of Medicine, where she also completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology, working in Atlanta’s premier hospitals Grady Memorial and Atlanta Medical Center. She is Board Certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG) and is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology (FACOG).

While high risk obstetrics is her passion, Dr. White specializes in gynecology including minimally invasive surgery, treatment of fibroids and infertility. She is pursuing additional training on the da Vinci Robotic Surgical System.

Dr. White is an Adjunct Faculty member of Obstetrics and Gynecology for Augusta University/University of Georgia Medical Partnership helping train future physicians. She also mentors and instructs advanced practice nursing students, nurse practitioner and midwifery students.

Dr. White enjoys participating in local charitable events and supporting our community Arts Association.

Family is her heart. She and her husband have a son and a daughter. They have lived in Covington since 2015 when Dr. White joined Covington Women’s Health Specialists. Dr. White and her family enjoy traveling. She is an avid sports fan with a special love for football and the Atlanta Falcons.
