Katey Burroughs, CNM

Katey Burroughs, CNM, a dedicated healthcare professional, earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Georgia College and State University in 2018. Commencing her career as a Registered Nurse, she spent one year on a specialized Medical Surgical unit, focusing on stroke and dementia patients. Katey’s passion for obstetrics led her to transition to Labor and Delivery, where she skillfully cared for both obstetric patients and newborns ​for over three years.

Driven by her commitment to advancing women’s health, Katey pursued further education, obtaining a Master’s of Science in Nursing with a concentration in Nurse Midwifery from Georgia College and State University. Board Certified by the American Midwifery Certification Board, Katey returned to her roots in Conyers​ in August 2022, practicing as a Certified Nurse Midwife.

Katey, recently married, enjoys cooking, crafting, traveling, and spending time with family.

Katey is deeply passionate about providing compassionate care to the women in the community that she grew up in. Her ​special interests include birth control management, obstetrics, and a focus on physiologic labor and birth​.
