Layla Jaffree, MD, FACOG, DABOM

Dr. Layla Jaffree is a board-certified Obstetrician and Gynecologist with more than 14 years of experience providing compassionate, evidence-based care to women at every stage of life. Since beginning her career in 2012, she has been dedicated to delivering personalized care that empowers women to make informed decisions about their health.

Dr. Jaffree earned her Doctor of Medicine degree from Emory University School of Medicine and completed her internship at Emory University before finishing her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Florida College of Medicine, where she received multiple teaching awards in recognition of her commitment to resident and medical student education. She is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG), a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (FACOG), a Diplomate of the American Board of Obesity Medicine (ABOM), and is certified in Cosmetic Gynecology through the International Society of Cosmetic Gynecology.

Her clinical interests include comprehensive gynecology and obstetrics, robotic and minimally invasive gynecologic surgery, menopause medicine, obesity medicine, cosmetic gynecology, and preventive women’s healthcare. She is passionate about helping women optimize their health through individualized, evidence-based care while offering advanced surgical techniques that promote faster recovery and excellent outcomes.

In addition to clinical practice, Dr. Jaffree has contributed to medical education through scholarly work and as a contributing chapter author of Exercise 2.0: Optimizing Functional Performance and Longevity Throughout the Lifespan. She remains committed to staying at the forefront of advances in women’s health through ongoing education and professional development.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Jaffree is the proud mother of four children and enjoys traveling, exercising, and spending time with her family.
